Dr. Nandhini Ashok, an exponent of Bharatanatyam, is the founder of Shree Paavitra Arts Academy. She has earned a Visharad in Bharatanatyam from the Akhil Bharatiya Gandharva Mahavidyalaya, Mahārāṣṭra, Master of Fine Arts from Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu and has earned a PhD from The Tamil University, Thanjavur with a thesis on ‘A Study on Dancers Practicing Bharatanāṭyam in Mahārāṣhṭra'.
About Dr. Nandhini
Dr. Nandini founded Shree Paavitra Arts Academy in 1998 and has choreographed more than 600 songs and Ballets. She has taught more than 1500 students and has given lectures at Beloit & Kentucky and Greece. She shares her passion by conducting workshops in Mumbai schools introducing classical dance to young minds.
